Book of Ruth

The story of Ruth has been a favorite among people of faith who have faced helplessness. Everyone loves it when an underdog overcomes a difficult circumstance and comes out on top. She was a broken, foreign widow with no future. Yet, God turns it around for her in the end, making her instrumental to Christianity. Her life's example teaches a hard work ethic, devotion to God, and commitment to others.

The pages include dozens of color illustrations and seven devotions. The first lesson is a poetic version of the text, a paraphrase designed to acquaint the reader with the account. The remaining six devotions will focus on applying these principles to everyday life. The topics from the Book of Ruth are the following:

  1. Strengthening Self-esteem

  2. A Good Work Ethic

  3. Commitment to Others

  4. Strong Marriages

  5. Grace Toward Foreigners

  6. Hope in Grief
