We are living in the most biblically ignorant generation of our nation’s history. The Poetic Bible Series was designed to help even novices to God’s word become familiar with the texts and their daily applications. God’s word was written to be living and active in the lives of every generation (Hebrews 4:12).

Each book contains seven devotions. The first lesson is a poetic rendering of the text, composed from up to twenty versions of the Bible. It is a paraphrased version designed to acquaint the reader with the account. The remaining six devotions, one for each day of the week, will focus on application.

The best way to use this material is either individually or as a small-group home Bible study. Each lesson will take about 20 minutes to complete individually. If conducted in a small-group discussion, each lesson will take approximately 35 minutes. I hope this will bless you in your walk with Christ.
