Volume 1 Compilation

Volume 1 of the Poetic Bible Series includes the Books of Job, Esther, Ruth, and Jonah. The first lesson of each is a paraphrased poetic rendering of the writing, composed from multiple versions. It was written to acquaint the reader with the biblical books. The remaining six devotions in each section focus on application to the Christian's life. In summary, there are twenty-eight daily devotions. in this volume. The Emphasis for each section is the following:

• The Book of Job: Strength Through Trials

• The Book of Esther: Nurturing God's Providence

• TheBook of Ruth: Endurance in Tragedy.

• The Book of Jonah: Walking Alongside God

This can be used for individual daily devotional material or for small-group Bible study. Each lesson will take about 20 minutes to complete individually. If conducted in a small-group discussion, each lesson will take approximately 35 minutes.
